The SAAB 92-X is made in the Subaru factory, the same factory that the Impreza line is made in, and is imported from Japan. Commonly called a SAABaru because the car is a rebadge of the Impreza Wagon. There is some doubt to whether the 92-X Aero model will be produced in 2006, due to the low sales volume before the incentives, rebates, and GM employee pricing moved the remaining 2005 92-X models off the showroom floors at prices well below it's Subaru sister car, the Impreza.
